Annoying voice chat in game

Can I turn off the stupid voice comments. I'm trying to drive and all I hear is "Hello", "Watta" and other menaingless noise.

I know I can leave the room chat but a setting to kill voice chat would be better, if there is one I can't see it

You can go to audio options and uncheck the "voice feedback"

actually, that's not it. However, I found it: right click on the chat channel tab and there's an option there to turn off voice chat. I'm not a big fan of voice chat anyway, and when people just constantly hit random buttons throughout the race it's just annoying.
