    Well thanks for confirming that the wheel steering range does effect controllers too. The settings in the game aren't exactly clearly detailed ... For the controller however, if i understand correctly from what you're saying the settings for a wheel would be "MIN" for dead zone and "MAX"...

    If your using a logitech wheel , use the "Logitech Profiler" application to create a profile for the game and run it through there and not steam. Had the same issue , and it worked for me.

    Same thing here. Keep picking up red and yellow keys during races and also picked up a tractor. None of these appear in gifts or anywhere else for me ...
